- Click “Sign Up” above, go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/register, or download the app via the links below for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Click “Let’s Go!”.
- Search for “Milwaukee County”. Select “Milwaukee County Federated Library System”. Then click “Next”.
- Type in your library card number and then type in your PIN. Click “Next”.
- Type in your email address. Then type in a secure password. Then select “Agree”.
- Click “Get Started”.
You can borrow up to 4 titles each month!
Borrows reset at midnight between the last day and first day of the month. Unused borrows do not carry over to the following month.
Hoopla periodically offers “Bonus Borrow” months, during which select titles will not count towards your borrow limits. When available, your hoopla home page will show these labeled as “Bonus Borrows”.
You may receive an error message if:
- your library card is expired
- your library card barcode or PIN is inaccurate
Please verify the barcode stored in hoopla matches your barcode number at this link: https://mcfls.aspendiscovery.org/MyAccount/LibraryCard
If you know your library card is not expired and your barcode is correct, you can reset your PIN by going to: https://mcfls.aspendiscovery.org/MyAccount/EmailResetPin, or call your local library to change your PIN.
Yes, the option to renew shows up 24 hours before your title would return automatically.
Renewing a title uses one of your remaining borrows for the month.
